Kennedys is looking for an Associate to work on high value multi-track large loss matters. The candidate will contribute to the effectiveness of the team by providing comprehensive and efficient support to the existing team when acting for a range of external clients so that the business objectives of the firm and team are achieved.
The candidates shall maintain the high standard of service offered to the firm's existing clients and assist in furthering the professional reputation of the team. Our Serious and Catastrophic Injury team is top-ranked in the major legal directories, has relationships with most of the major insurers, and is renowned for our unique and innovative approach.
We act on complex and high-profile cases, led by experienced Partners recognised as market leaders in this sector. We avoid unnecessary lawyering and are focused on working in partnership with our clients and delivering modern solutions, including our in-house R&D capability and award-winning product suite of technological and process innovations.
This area of the team focuses on defending claims arising from road traffic accidents advising a major insurer on coverage, liability, quantum and rehabilitation. On quantum, we handle a real mix of claims ranging from those involving straightforward fractures to life changing injuries as well as accidents which have tragically resulted in fatalities.
The Partner leading the team has a long-standing relationship with the insurer which results in quite unusual and sometimes rather unique claims being received. This position offers an opportunity to work on a wide scope of cases arising from road collisions.

- Cases: All aspects of personal injury claims up to and assisting on complex, high-value personal injury and coverage claims. Motor liability covering defendant claims.
Required experience:
- 3+ years' relevant experience
- Litigation experience of personal injury defence work
- Experience of assisting on large cases in a team environment
