Kennedys are seeking an MDM Specialist to be a part of our global Master Data Management (MDM) team. These role will be based in Chelmsford.
The role will be primarily responsible for supporting the client and file opening processes within the conflicts management and new business intake tool. In addition, you will support data checking initiatives that are designed to improve accuracy, consistency, and compliance of data held within our financial system (Elite3E).
Team
Kennedys' Finance team ensures global support by delivering precise financial and management information, reporting solutions, and operational assistance to maintain exceptional service standards for internal and external clients. Part of the Business Intelligence unit, our team includes key roles such as the Global MDM Lead, MDM Team Managers, Local MDM Supervisors, and localised MDM SME's and Data Administrators Teams in the UK, India, USA and Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough data integrity checks and conflict searches through the Firm's master data management system and other necessary procedures.
- Regularly monitor master data entries for completeness and accuracy, taking necessary actions to rectify discrepancies.
- Identify potential non-compliance with the Firm's MDM policies and procedures and elevate as appropriate.
- Process master data transfers and update details as required by stakeholders and the Financial Operations team.
- Assist with data governance influenced by MDM.
Required Experience
- Good level of IT skills, including Word and Excel
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills with a confident telephone manner and strong writing skills.
- Experience in finance systems (desired but not essential).
