We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate to join our Aviation team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a globally recognised practice, advising insurers, reinsurers, airlines, and aviation service providers on a wide range of complex and high‑profile matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of aviation‑related claims, including liability, coverage, and regulatory matters
  • Advising clients on contentious and non‑contentious aviation issues
  • Handling litigation in the High Court and supporting dispute resolution processes
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and legal advice
  • Engaging directly with clients, brokers, and industry stakeholders
  • Supporting partners on large‑scale, multi‑jurisdictional matters

Qualifications

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction)
  • 2–5 years' PQE, ideally with experience in aviation, insurance, or complex litigation
  • Strong analytical and drafting skills
  • Commercial awareness and a keen interest in the aviation sector
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
