Job description
Global Organisation seeks a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Finance Assistant would have strong attention to detail, highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines.
Previous experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
This position is based in Wokingham in Berkshire.
Duties of the Finance Assistant include
- Maintain payroll client payments (Net wages, HMRC, Pension etc)
- Maintain AP ledger, for our client's liabilities (HMRC, Pension, Net wages etc)
- Maintain AR ledger, receipting invoices and performing regular credit control
- Maintain Client cash reconciliation
- Daily/Weekly Bank Reconciliations
- Manage the UKPS Finance inbox with supplier & internal queries
- Ad-Hoc support
- Other administration & support duties as required
Requirements for then Finance Assistant include
- Ability to learn new processes and systems
- Strong communication, both within team and the wider business
- Strong numerical skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to details & able to work to deadlines
- Good Excel skills
- Use of Oracle Cloud (or equivalent) would be beneficial but not essential
- Interest in AAT and/or professional Finance qualification preferred
