Are you an experienced Systems Accountant or Finance Systems Analyst looking for a meaningful interim opportunity?
We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, purpose-driven non-profit organisation embarking on an exciting finance transformation project. This is a pivotal opportunity to join the organisation as a Systems Accountant, leading the selection, configuration, and implementation of a new finance system across the charity.
This is a 12-month FTC and can be performed remotely with occasional travel to the London office. Full-time and part-time applications are welcome.
The Role
As the Systems Accountant, you will play a critical role in delivering a modernised finance function. This is a hands-on implementation role, perfect for someone with a deep understanding of finance systems and proven experience managing end-to-end system implementations in a charity, housing association, or similar setting.
You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to ensure the system meets business needs and delivers real operational improvement, all while ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of a new finance system from selection to go-live
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure alignment
- Manage system configuration, testing, training, and data migration
- Identify and address risks to keep the project on track
- Deliver documentation and support handover to BAU finance and IT teams
About You
- Qualified Accountant or equivalent experience
- Previous experience as a Systems Accountant or Finance Systems Analyst
- Strong knowledge of finance systems and implementations, ideally in the non-profit or housing sector
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment
