We are currently partnering with a prestigious, technology driven Asset Manager in recruiting a Trading Execution & Investment Solutions Analyst

- 3-5 years Trading Execution experience within an asset manager, investment manager or similar financial institution. **You must have experience placing orders into the market and managing on-going order management **
- Good understanding of financial markets and investment products.
- Experienced in equities, fixed income, investment funds and FX.
- Strong mathematical and numerical ability.
JOB FUNCTION
- The role will support a broad range of investment activities across the firm’s technology-enabled investment solutions, including model portfolio management, investment platforms, data, analytics and trade execution support.
- You will have experience of execution trading across equities, bonds, investment funds, and foreign exchange.
- The role will leverage technology to support the implementation of investment decisions and the wider trading process.
- Support the day-to-day management and continued development of the firms Model Portfolio
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support trading and execution activity across equities, fixed income, investment funds and foreign exchange.
- Support the implementation of investment decisions.
- Assist with trade preparation, monitoring, booking and allocation.
- Work with Operations to help resolve trade breaks and settlement issues.
- Undertake model rebalancing and support the implementation of portfolio changes.
- Support model construction and maintenance.
- Link models to clients and maintain associated platform records.
- Onboard funds and portfolios onto investment platforms.
- Use investment and portfolio data to support portfolio management, trading and model oversight.
- Apply strong mathematical and analytical skills to investment, portfolio and data-related problems.
- Use Python to support data analysis, process automation and the development of internal investment tools.
- Support the maintenance and development of analytics, models and reporting processes
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 4 years + relevant experience within an asset manager, investment manager or similar financial institution.
- Understanding of financial markets and investment products.
- Experience or exposure to equities, fixed income, investment funds and FX.
- Strong mathematical and numerical ability.
- Practical Python coding skills, particularly for data analysis and automation.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Strong practical knowledge of Bloomberg.
- Very good working knowledge of Morningstar and FE Analytics.
- Experience working with investment portfolios, models and financial data.
