A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Software Application Manager to take end-to-end ownership of its Microsoft-centric enterprise application estate, spanning core business platforms, integrations, and digital services. This role sits at the heart of technology delivery and operations, leading multi-disciplinary teams of .NET developers, application support analysts, and solution architects. You will be accountable for application strategy, modernisation, and service ownership, ensuring platforms are secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned to business priorities.
Key responsibilities:
- Owning the application strategy, architecture, and full lifecycle across Microsoft and Azure-hosted platforms
- Leading change, transformation, and modernisation initiatives, including cloud adoption and legacy uplift
- Overseeing application support, SLAs, incident and problem management across business-critical systems
- Working closely with senior business leaders, product owners, and IT leadership to align platforms with commercial goals
- Managing third-party vendors, SaaS products, and systems integrators, ensuring value, quality, and compliance
