Hybrid Working
Permanent £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Industry Experience: Trade Support from Hedge Fund or Asset Management
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 2-3 years previous investment operations experience at an Asset Manager or Hedge Fund working in Trade Support
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics
- Experience in Equity, Unit Trusts, ETFs, FX Forwards, Futures, Sovereign Bonds
- General Operations Trade support experience including Trade Matching, Settlements, Custody Positioning and Cash reconciliations, corporate actions, collateral management and Proxy Voting
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Numerate, methodical
- Good decision-making/problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Full UK working rights
PREFERED/NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE
- Experience in OTC Derivatives (Futures, IRS, Swaptions, Bond Options, FX Options)
- Knowledge of Broadridge portfolio management system
- Custody market openings, tax reclaims, EMIR Reporting, NAV reconciliations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full trade support/ownership for allocated Funds
- Take ownership for trade lifecycles and resolving issues with trade settlement, matching, corporate actions
- Reconciliation of custodian cash and positions
- Collateral Management
- Responsible for approving NAVs
- FX management and payments
- Address any ad-hoc enquiries from Front Office/Custodians/Administrators
- Contributing improvements to the control environment
- Adhoc projects as requested by Operations Manager and Head of Operations
