Prestigious West end-based Asset Manager seeks a Trade Support/Investment Operations Analyst.

Hybrid Working

Permanent £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Industry Experience: Trade Support from Hedge Fund or Asset Management

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 2-3 years previous investment operations experience at an Asset Manager or Hedge Fund working in Trade Support
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics
  • Experience in Equity, Unit Trusts, ETFs, FX Forwards, Futures, Sovereign Bonds
  • General Operations Trade support experience including Trade Matching, Settlements, Custody Positioning and Cash reconciliations, corporate actions, collateral management and Proxy Voting
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Numerate, methodical
  • Good decision-making/problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Full UK working rights

PREFERED/NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in OTC Derivatives (Futures, IRS, Swaptions, Bond Options, FX Options)
  • Knowledge of Broadridge portfolio management system
  • Custody market openings, tax reclaims, EMIR Reporting, NAV reconciliations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Full trade support/ownership for allocated Funds
  • Take ownership for trade lifecycles and resolving issues with trade settlement, matching, corporate actions
  • Reconciliation of custodian cash and positions
  • Collateral Management
  • Responsible for approving NAVs
  • FX management and payments
  • Address any ad-hoc enquiries from Front Office/Custodians/Administrators
  • Contributing improvements to the control environment
  • Adhoc projects as requested by Operations Manager and Head of Operations
