KennedyPearce's Search team is working exclusively with one of our key clients, who are a listed investment management business seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to support a period of change and transformation within its finance function. This is a broad leadership role requiring a technically strong finance professional with deep fund industry experience and the ability to operate across fund finance, corporate finance, middle office and wider operational teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering strategic projects, enhancing controls and supporting senior stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial management and reporting across a range of investment funds.
- Maintain ownership of NAV oversight and related fund accounting processes.
- Lead and support strategic finance and operational projects.
- Partner closely with Fund Finance, Middle Office, Operations and senior business stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements, controls enhancements and operational efficiencies.
- Support regulatory, audit and governance requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance across the wider finance function.
Experience required:
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant.
- Significant experience within investment management, asset management or alternative investments.
- Previous experience working within a listed fund-focused business is required.
- Strong understanding of NAV production, fund accounting and fund structures.
- Proven track record delivering finance transformation, change or strategic projects.
- Experience working across both fund and corporate finance environments.
- Ability to engage effectively with Middle Office, Operations and investment teams.
You must be available to commence an interim assignment within a short timeframe.
