An award-winning private investment business is seeking an FP&A Director to join its London-based finance leadership team in a high-profile, commercially focused role.
This is a genuine leadership opportunity combining strategic planning, business partnering and advanced financial modelling. You'll lead a small team, work closely with senior executives and play a key role in shaping decision-making across the business. Alongside ownership of core FP&A processes, you'll help drive the ongoing transformation of the finance function through automation, systems enhancements and the adoption of emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the FP&A team, setting direction and raising capability across the function.
- Own the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide commercial insight and support strategic decision-making.
- Deliver analysis on business performance, identifying key risks and opportunities.
- Oversee complex modelling, scenario planning and business cases.
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on reporting, data, systems and process improvement.
- Champion automation and the use of AI to enhance efficiency and insight.
- Present clear, impactful outputs to executive stakeholders and Board-level audiences.
Experience Required:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
- Strong FP&A experience gained within private investments, asset management or a broader investment environment.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
- Exposure to finance transformation, systems improvement and automation initiatives.
- Financial services experience is essential.
