The London branch of a European commercial bank is looking for SMF16/17 to join their busy City-based office to oversee a small team.
Duties & Responsibilities of a Head of Compliance & MLRO:
- Maintaining internal Compliance/AML/monitoring frameworks
- Providing advice and guidance to senior stakeholders
- Dealing with conflicts and PA Dealing/gifts requests
- Assessing the commercial impact of new regulations
- Updating policies and holding the Data Protection Officer position
Qualities & Attributes required to be a Head of Compliance & MLRO:
- You will have previous banking experience ideally from a capital markets/FX/treasury background
- You will ideally have experience working as a SMF16/17 but an outstanding Deputy with extensive proven stand-in experience may also be considered
