We are seeking an experienced
Accounts Payable Specialist to lead the AP function across two business entities, operating within a multi-currency framework.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable cycle-from invoice processing to supplier payments-while ensuring robust controls, timely reporting, and process optimisation.
Set up of new and maintenance of existing supplier accounts in Xero in accordance with internal procedures, including processing new supplier forms.
Process supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring they have the necessary department approval, are coded to the appropriate accounts, and apply the proper VAT treatment.
Monitor and manage the accounts payable and finance inboxes, ensuring that all incoming invoices and queries from suppliers, as well as queries from other departments, are promptly addressed.
Reconciling all the bank accounts and credit cards (multi currency: Take ownership of Pleo (expense management), including daily monitoring of transactions, following up with users to ensure all invoices are uploaded and correctly coded.
Assist with the rollout of Yooz, an AP automation software, ensuring smooth implementation and user compliance across all departments.
Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed.
Solid track record in senior accounts payable roles, ideally in a stock-based business.
Familiarity with multi-currency processing and intercompany accounting.
