My client is a fast-paced hospitality business based in Central London, looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to support the finance team during a busy period. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident working with Sun and has strong AP experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Performing daily/weekly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintaining the general ledger and resolving discrepancies
  • Supporting month-end close activities
  • Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations and payment runs
  • Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers as required
  • Ad-hoc finance support to the Finance Manager

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Finance Assistant or similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of Sun
  • Solid experience with bank, supplier, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Background in hospitality or a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently in an interim capacity
