We are currently partnering with a well-established global manufacturing business to recruit a Finance Manager based in King’s Lynn. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a growing and supportive organisation, playing a key role within the finance function and wider business operations.

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts and group reporting requirements, whilst overseeing the day-to-day management of the finance team. This is a highly visible role requiring someone who can work to strict reporting deadlines, build strong relationships across the business and provide proactive leadership to the finance function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Production of monthly management accounts and period-end reporting
  • Management and support of a finance team of 5
  • Oversight of balance sheet and profit & loss integrity
  • Management of accounts receivable, accounts payable and credit control functions
  • Review and improvement of financial processes and internal controls
  • Investigation and analysis of variances across revenue, stock and overheads
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the ERP system
  • Liaising with external auditors and group finance colleagues

We are open to qualified, part-qualified or QBE candidates. Study support is available for part-qualified applicants. Previous management or supervisory experience would be highly desirable, although not essential. Experience within a manufacturing environment would also be advantageous but is not a requirement.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with a proactive and hands-on approach, capable of building strong working relationships across all levels of the business.
