KennedyPearce are working with a fast-growing fintech business based in London. This role will be 3 days in the office and is a hands-on role reporting into the Finance Director and will be perfect for someone looking to get wide exposure across finance. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Daily, weekly, and monthly finance operations
- Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews
- Supporting payroll checks and reconciliations
- Excel-based reporting and financial analysis
- Using Xero for financial transactions and reports
- Assist in preparing client reports and invoices
- Helping to improve and document financial processes
- Exposure to confidential information - discretion required
- Support audit or compliance requirements as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-3 years experience
- A general accounting degree or part-qualified accountant (ideal for someone from practice)
- Strong understanding of debits, credits, and basic reconciliations
- High attention to detail - some might say a little OCD
- Confident with Excel
- Proactive mindset, ready to grow rapidly in the next 12 months
