KennedyPearce are working with a fast-growing fintech business based in London. This role will be 3 days in the office and is a hands-on role reporting into the Finance Director and will be perfect for someone looking to get wide exposure across finance. This company offers a casual, professional, fast-paced culture in a dog-friendly office.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Daily, weekly, and monthly finance operations
  • Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews
  • Supporting payroll checks and reconciliations
  • Excel-based reporting and financial analysis
  • Using Xero for financial transactions and reports
  • Assist in preparing client reports and invoices
  • Helping to improve and document financial processes
  • Exposure to confidential information - discretion required
  • Support audit or compliance requirements as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2-3 years experience
  • A general accounting degree or part-qualified accountant (ideal for someone from practice)
  • Strong understanding of debits, credits, and basic reconciliations
  • High attention to detail - some might say a little OCD
  • Confident with Excel
  • Proactive mindset, ready to grow rapidly in the next 12 months
  • Thrives in a casual, professional, and fast-paced environment
