Prestigious West end-based Asset Manager seeks an Investment Operations Analyst.
Hybrid Working Permanent £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits.
Must have Industry Experience: Hedge Fund or Asset Management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 2-3 years previous investment operations experience at an Asset Manager or Hedge Fund.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Mathematics.
- Experience in Equity, Unit Trusts, ETFs, FX Forwards, Futures, Sovereign Bonds.
- General Operations Trade support experience including Trade Matching, Settlements, Custody Positioning, Cash reconciliations, corporate actions, collateral management, and Proxy Voting.
- Full UK working rights.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experience in OTC Derivatives (Futures, IRS, Swaptions, Bond Options, FX Options).
- Knowledge of Broadridge portfolio management system.
- Custody market openings, tax reclaims, EMIR Reporting, NAV reconciliations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Numerate, methodical.
- Good decision-making/problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full trade support/ownership for allocated Funds.
- Take ownership for trade lifecycles and resolving issues with trade settlement, matching, corporate actions.
- Reconciliation of custodian cash and positions.
- Collateral Management.
- Responsible for approving NAVs.
- FX management and payments.
- Address any ad-hoc enquiries from Front Office/Custodians/Administrators.
- Contributing improvements to the control environment.
- Adhoc projects as requested by Operations Manager and Head of Operations.
