We're working with a leading international investment management business looking to appoint an experienced Interim Finance Director to support its European finance operations. This is a broad finance leadership role covering financial reporting, business partnering, regulatory compliance and operational oversight across a number of European entities. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll provide financial guidance, ensure robust reporting and help drive improvements across the wider finance function.
Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end close and financial reporting across European entities
- Manage year-end reporting and external audit processes
- Provide commercial insight and financial support to senior business stakeholders
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Ensure ongoing compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements
- Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting processes
- Manage relationships with internal teams and outsourced finance providers
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Required Skills
- Experience in financial control, reporting or senior finance leadership
- Background in financial services, investment management, wealth management or another regulated environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially focused with solid technical accounting knowledge
- Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
