An award-winning global investment firm is seeking a Finance Data & Analytics Manager to join its London team on a 12-month contract. This role focuses on financial data, reporting and analytics, with an emphasis on improving how information is structured, consolidated and analysed to support decision-making across the business.
You’ll work closely with finance, data and technology teams to enhance reporting processes, strengthen data integrity and deliver insight-led analysis. The position offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence a more data-driven approach within a high-performing environment.
The role:
- Work with financial data across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency and control
- Consolidate and transform disparate data into structured, usable datasets for reporting and analysis
- Develop and enhance management reporting, with a focus on automation and actionable insight
- Analyse revenue drivers, cost performance and key financial metrics to support commercial decision-making
- Improve finance data structures and reporting processes, reducing reliance on manual work and spreadsheets
- Support dashboarding and visual reporting (e.g. Power BI)
- Partner with finance and data teams on system improvements, data flows and transformation initiatives
- Act as a bridge between finance and technical teams to ensure data is aligned and fit for purpose
Background:
- Experience in finance reporting, FP&A or finance analytics, with a strong data focus
- Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to Power BI or similar tools
- Experience working with financial data across multiple systems
- Track record of improving reporting processes or data quality
- Financial services experience preferred
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
