A global strategic advisory firm is seeking a Finance Assistant to join its London office. This role forms part of a commercially focused Business Support team and will support core finance operations across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and banking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end billing, credit control and aged debtor reporting
  • Maintain invoicing portals and record client receipts
  • Support WIP reviews, accrued/deferred income and intercompany recharges
  • Prepare weekly payment runs and complete bank reconciliations
  • Process supplier invoices and payments, including weekly supplier reconciliations
  • Reconcile expenses and credit cards monthly
  • Ensure transactions comply with internal controls and maintain clear audit trails
  • Act as a key finance contact for internal teams, clients and suppliers

Skills & Experience

  • Around four years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high transaction volumes
  • Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with Paprika desirable
  • Proactive, reliable and comfortable working to deadlines
