A global strategic advisory firm is seeking a Finance Assistant to join its London office. This role forms part of a commercially focused Business Support team and will support core finance operations across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and banking.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing, credit control and aged debtor reporting
- Maintain invoicing portals and record client receipts
- Support WIP reviews, accrued/deferred income and intercompany recharges
- Prepare weekly payment runs and complete bank reconciliations
- Process supplier invoices and payments, including weekly supplier reconciliations
- Reconcile expenses and credit cards monthly
- Ensure transactions comply with internal controls and maintain clear audit trails
- Act as a key finance contact for internal teams, clients and suppliers
Skills & Experience
- Around four years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high transaction volumes
- Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
- Proficient in Excel; experience with Paprika desirable
- Proactive, reliable and comfortable working to deadlines
