A leading international bank based in North London are looking for a Head of Legal & Compliance to provide full regulatory oversight and to assist with the review of legal documentation.
Duties & Responsibilities of a Head of Legal and Compliance
- Providing regulatory advice and acting as a point of contract for internal and external stakeholders
- Designing and maintaining the Compliance Monitoring Programme
- Analysing the commercial impact of new rules and regulations
- Reviewing and negotiating legal agreements including third-party supplier contracts
- Assisting external counsel with litigation support
Qualities and Attributes of a Head of Legal and Compliance
You will have minimum of 10 years\’ relevant experience including previous experience as a SMF16/17. You must have proven retail banking experience and a strong working knowledge of the current UK regulatory landscape. Salary: £150K plus bonus and benefits. Role is 5 days a week in the office.
