A Global bank based in London, who offer excellent benefits currently seek a Credit Analyst with expertise of Project Finance transactions
The successful candidate with be responsible for reporting to the Credit Risk division Deputy Head/Manager completing all Credit Approval and Credit Management functions across their UK and Europe project finance energy and Infrastructure portfolio
You Must have experience in UK +European project Finance transactions to be eligible
Key Responsibilities
- Minimise the Bank’s credit-related losses by identifying and reasonably measuring the credit risks and mitigants in proposals, reviews etc.
- Make clear and unambiguous recommendations to Credit Committee, in accordance with the Bank’s credit policies, regarding the acceptability of particular business deals from a credit perspective whilst simultaneously maintaining an independent and objective view within the credit process.
- Effectively monitoring, identifying and reasonably measuring credit risk within the Bank’s asset portfolio
- Provide credit evaluation report for various credit products which provides overview of transactions, financial and non-financial risk analysis, key risks identified with the associated mitigation if any as well as credit recommendation (including suggested credit enhancement as well as management conditions)
- Assisting with the implementation of credit risk appetite, credit policies and procedures and management processes once they are established. Make sure the credit transactions are compliant with credit policies
- This position mainly focuses on project finance business (Energy and Infrastructure deals) and may also cover some other sector’s credit business based on the types of proposal from front office.
Essential Experience
- You must have past experience as a Credit Analyst covering UK+European Project Finance transactions or such deal types as part of a mixed portfolio from a Bank or Financial Institution
- Advising on, dealing (as principal or agent) and arranging (bringing about) deals in and/or managing investments
- Giving advice to clients in connection with corporate finance business and performing other functions relating to this
- Right to work in the UK, with previous experience gained working in the Uk with either a Bank or Financial Institution
