Global Organisations seeks an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. The Accounts Payable Assistant will carry out transaction recording and processing, master file maintenance and all relevant payment processes and controls relating to the Accounts Payable system. The Accounts Payable Assistant will also provide further technical support reconciling various normal ledger accounts, completing statutory and other returns, reports and aiding with colleagues where necessary.

Key responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant include:

  • Management of accounts payable system, including supplier payments, customer rebates and expense management.
  • Supplier master file and records maintenance.
  • Prepare and submit HMRC and other returns/reports.
  • Prepare and maintain schedules for prepayments, customer rebate allowances, bank accounts and fixed asset register.
  • Reconciliations of allocated nominal ledger accounts.
  • Provide support for internal and external audit exercises.
  • Ad-hoc duties.

Requirements for the Accounts Payable Assistant:

  • Organised.
  • Strong communicator.
  • Good level of Excel skills.
  • Business Central experience is advantageous however not essential.
