Senior Software Engineer – Python | AI & Machine Learning
I'm currently partnered with an exciting, high-growth technology business looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer with strong Python expertise and an interest in AI and Machine Learning.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative engineering team, working on complex technical challenges and building intelligent, data-driven applications.
What they're looking for:
- Strong commercial experience with Python as your primary programming language.
- Experience building scalable backend systems, APIs and data pipelines.
- Exposure to AI, Machine Learning and data-driven applications.
- Experience with Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, GeoPandas or Xarray would be beneficial.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design and engineering best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership of projects from concept through to production.
- Experience working in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.
- Comfortable using AI development tools to accelerate engineering delivery.
The opportunity:
You'll be working across software engineering, data and AI, developing scalable applications, building data processing pipelines and turning complex technical ideas into production-ready solutions.
You'll have significant autonomy, contribute to technical architecture and work closely with wider engineering and product teams to deliver innovative solutions.
