The predicted salary is between 47250 - 57750 Β£ per year.
We're working with an established international group to recruit a Senior Accountant into their growing finance team. This is a broad role covering financial and management accounting, month-end reporting, VAT, audit, intercompany accounting and financial controls, with exposure to overseas entities and branches.
The role will include:
- Preparation of monthly financial and management accounts
- Month-end and year-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journals
- Consolidation and IFRS adjustments for group reporting
- Management of intercompany accounts and recharges
- Preparation of UK and European VAT returns, Intrastat and ESL
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Managing the external audit process
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Supporting overseas finance teams and working with external tax advisers
- Providing finance and ERP support across the wider business
- Supporting ERP developments and process improvements
- Providing back-up support to treasury operations
About you:
- Qualified accountant with 3+ years' post-qualified experience
- Strong financial accounting and month-end experience
- Strong experience with ledgers and reconciliations
- Experience working with an integrated ERP system
- Good understanding of IFRS and FRS 102
