Kennedy Pearce is partnering with an established, private equity-backed transport and infrastructure business to appoint a commercially minded Finance Analyst.
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you’ll join a finance team of approximately 12 and help shape decisions across long-term planning, capital investment and business performance.
With an active sustainability agenda and a focus on future infrastructure requirements, the business offers an interesting environment for an ambitious finance professional who wants to understand the commercial story behind the numbers.
The role
You’ll work across a broad remit, including:
- Developing and maintaining five-year financial plans and forecast models.
- Delivering commercial analysis and scenario modelling to support decision-making.
- Analysing capital expenditure projects and supporting investment appraisals.
- Supporting reporting and analysis around loans, funding and banking relationships.
- Business partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders.
- Translating financial performance into clear insights and recommendations.
- Improving forecasting, reporting and financial models.
About you
We welcome applications from qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountants, with study support available for those still studying.
You’ll bring strong analytical and Excel skills, alongside a driven, ambitious and inquisitive approach. You’ll be quick to understand new information, confident asking questions and keen to challenge assumptions constructively.
Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, financial analysis or management accounting would provide a strong foundation.
