Temporary Credit Control Manager (Contract, Temporary) in London

We are working with a large, established organisation looking to appoint an experienced Credit Control Manager to lead its multi-site Credit Control and Cash Allocation function. Managing a team of 12 across London and Manchester, you will take ownership of group debt exposure, drive collections performance and ensure the team consistently delivers against its KPIs. This is a highly visible role involving regular interaction with senior finance leadership and operational stakeholders. Lead, motivate and develop a team of Credit Controllers and Cash Allocation professionalsDrive the collection of outstanding debt and improve aged-debt performanceAllocate workloads and ensure consistent customer service across the functionOversee credit notes, write-offs and internal control proceduresManage complex escalations and negotiate settlements with difficult payersLiaise with solicitors and external debt collection agencies when requiredProduce regular debtor reporting and commentary for senior leadership and Board packsSupport cash-flow forecasting by providing accurate collection projectionsDevelop KPIs, performance metrics and quarterly team targetsOwn and improve Credit Control procedures and processesIdentify opportunities to optimise Dynamics AX and other systemsThe successful candidate will have proven experience managing a Credit Control team within a complex organisation, alongside strong stakeholder management, reporting and process-improvement skills.
