Commercial Finance Manager

With a global footprint spanning Europe, North America, and Asia, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation.

As part of this journey, they are seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Commercial Finance Manager to join their London-based finance team.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a high-impact role offering significant exposure across the organisation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing financial planning and analysis capabilities, improving reporting processes, supporting commercial decision-making, and driving operational efficiencies across the business.

Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes.

Produce and enhance monthly management reporting for senior leadership.

Deliver insightful variance analysis and performance commentary.

Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to support commercial and operational decision-making.

Support cash flow forecasting and longer-term financial planning initiatives.

Commercial Finance Business Partnering Partner with Sales teams to evaluate product profitability, pricing strategies, and margin performance.

Work closely with Operations and Supply Chain functions to analyse inventory, logistics, and warehousing costs.

Support workforce planning through headcount analysis, commission tracking, and productivity reporting.

Provide data-driven insights and challenge stakeholders to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Process Improvement & Reporting Transformation Review and enhance existing finance processes and reporting frameworks.

Improve data integrity and reporting accuracy across the business.

Drive automation initiatives and identify opportunities to leverage technology and AI tools to improve efficiency.

Contribute to the development of scalable finance processes that support future growth.

Candidate Profile The successful candidate will be a qualified finance professional with strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to build effective relationships across the business.

Essential Requirements ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.1-3 years' post-qualification experience within a commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering role.

Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Comfortable operating within a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Desirable Experience Experience within retail, consumer goods, e-commerce, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or related sectors.

Exposure to ERP systems such as Odoo or similar platforms.

Experience working with automation tools, AI solutions, or data-driven process improvements.

Additional language skills would be advantageous.
