Due to expansion, our Client seeks a Tax Graduate to join their Guildford based team. This is a newly created role, and the Tax Graduate would report into the Senior and Assistant Manager. The Tax Graduate would provide personal tax compliance, global mobility and payroll support to this growing business within the finance sector who deal with both individuals and corporate clients. This role would suit an enthusiastic individual who is keen to progress and learn.
Duties of the Tax Graduate include:
- To provide administrative support to client service team
- Complete 12-month tax training sessions including soft skills.
- Start ATT qualification (where appropriate)
- Increase Team specific technical knowledge.
- Become familiar with HMRC forms, rates and terminology, ensure all compliance deadlines are understood and met.
- Learn how to use tax specific programs and technology.
- Become familiar with Tax Return preparation.
- Learn good time management and organisation strategies.
- Be aware of the importance of client billing and how this impacts the success of the business.
- To assist with any other administrative and/or client work as and when required.
