Financial Accountant in Reading

Our Client seeks a Financial Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. The Financial Accountant would have a solid background in financial reporting, a detailed-oriented professional, with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties of the Financial Accountant include:

• Oversee balance sheet account reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
• Annual audit process, Involves preparation of relevant documents for review of year end balances.
• Production and posting of recurring monthly accrual journals.
• Preparation of financial statements
• Compile monthly management accounts.
• Month End variance analysis
• Cashflow forecasts
• Prepare month end reporting files from TB and reconcile.
• Participate in Month end review with senior management and monthly review and commentary.
• Documentation of month end reporting
• Maintain overseas balance sheet totals.
• Preparation of the P&L, balance sheet & cash flow
• Ad-hoc tasks & analysis

Requirements for the Financial Accountant include:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA.CIMA)
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong cashflow management and reconciliation experience
• Able to work to tight deadlines and multitask.
• Strong Excel skills
