A global organisation is seeking a commercially minded Tax Accountant to join its finance team following internal changes. This is a hands-on role with exposure to international tax reporting, working closely with finance colleagues, in-house tax specialists, and external advisers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support corporation tax and indirect tax compliance for UK entities and selected European operations
- Prepare and review VAT and Intrastat returns using ERP data
- Assist with group tax reporting, including CbCR and BEPS-related requirements
- Reconcile and manage tax balances, ensuring timely payments and accurate reporting
- Provide tax input to monthly reporting, budgeting, and planning processes
- Support tax-related projects such as process improvements, automation, and digital compliance initiatives
- Act as a liaison with external tax advisers and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree-level education; accounting or tax qualification (or relevant experience) preferred
- At least 2 years' experience in finance or accounting
- Strong Excel and ERP system experience (IFS preferred)
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines
- Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working across international teams
- Hybrid working available.
