The Audit Senior Associate is a pivotal role focused on external audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio. This high growth organisation is seeking an ambitious individual with a great attitude and keen to grow and develop.

The Audit Senior Associate would be working with a wide range of clients, from big corporates to smaller owner/manager.

Duties of the Audit Senior Associate include:

  • Leading audits from the initial planning stages through to fieldwork and final completion.
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts to comply with UK GAAP, including complex consolidated accounts.
  • Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members, acting as a mentor to support their technical development.
  • Drafting corporation tax computations, preparing VAT returns, and producing management accounts where required.
  • Monitoring progress against budgets and identifying 'value-add' opportunities for clients.

Requirements for the Audit Senior Associate include:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or a final-stage trainee) with at least two years of post-qualification experience in a UK accountancy practice.
  • Educated up to degree level or AAT qualified for a school leaver.
  • Working knowledge of UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills for direct client liaison and effective team delegation.
