City based international bank seeks an Assistant Relationship Manager/Relationship Support Officer to join their Corporate Lending Team. Candidates who are immediately available or on a shorter notice period would be preferred.

Essential Industry Experience: International banking within Corporate Lending, operating in an Assistant Relationship Manager or Relationship Support type role.
About the Role:
- Provide support to the Head of Corporate Lending and to the Corporate Relationship Managers on all aspects of customer service and administrative duties in the Corporate Lending Department.
- Provide a first-class service to the Corporate Lending customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring service is provided to Corporate Lending customers and potential customers to a high standard on all aspects.
- Responsible for financial and non-financial covenants checking/monitoring for all Corporate Lending customers.
- Calculating customers' facility availability based on 'Borrowing Base Formulas'.
- Monitor the financial position and availability of customers subject to transactional finance.
- Partner with the Corporate Banking Support unit to open new accounts and perform regular AML reviews on customers according to their risk profile.
- Ensure that accounts are closed on a timely basis.
- Clear AML-related alerts on a daily basis.
- Monitoring of FX positions; responsible for booking deposits and small FX deals for Corporate Lending customers.
- Ensure excesses on Corporate Lending customer accounts are cleared.
- Follow up for receipt of renewals or new policies for insurance (life insurance, credit insurance etc.).
- Ensure that Corporate Lending loans are correctly set up in the computer system.
- Assist with the preparation of credit proposals as requested by the Relationship Managers.
- Ensure financial statements are received for all Corporate Lending customers and follow up for receipt of up to date financial statements on an annual basis.
- Issue Head of Terms for Corporate Lending customers as requested by the Relationship Managers.
- Issue Corporate Lending Facility letters as requested by the Relationship Managers.
- Instruct solicitors letters as requested by the Relationship Managers.
Essential Experience Required:
- Experience from an international banking environment working within Corporate Lending.
- Proven experience in an Assistant Relationship Manager or Relationship Support type role.
- Knowledge of financial and non-financial covenants monitoring/checking.
- Understanding of preparing credit proposals if preferred.
