Due to further growth and expansion, an opportunity has become available for a Senior Service Engineer for our clients, a global electro-technology company. Tasked to build, develop and lead their Thermal Management/Liquid Cooling service team at their Rotherham site, and travel to customer sites to carry out commissioned work, troubleshoot and maintenance work on electrical, refrigeration and thermal management technology.

  • Carrying out commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance on thermal management/refrigeration products at the customer's site.
  • Create and supervise a service workshop at the Rotherham location, carrying out repairs and optimising operational processes.
  • Liaise with the EMEA service team.
  • Cross-departmental cooperation in clarifying customer complaints and competent, service-oriented communication with our customers and internal interfaces.
  • Completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics or refrigeration technology.
  • Several years of experience in service for advice-intensive industrial products and good IT knowledge in MS Office is desirable.
  • Enjoy dealing with people, confident and service-oriented demeanour with our customers.
  • You have manual skills and a high level of quality and safety awareness.
  • Proven experience as an industrial refrigeration/thermal management Service Engineer.
  • Relevant technical qualifications in Refrigeration/Thermal Management or Air Conditioning: NVQ level 2 or equivalent and F-Gas Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of Refrigeration/thermal systems, controls, and components.
  • Experience of electrical fault finding. Electrical Certificate: 18th Edition would be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • A full UK driving license (clean preferred!).
  • Willingness to travel as required, both in UK and Europe.
