Technical Manager

Location: Windsor, Berkshire

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

About the Company:

Our client is a leading residential developer dedicated to delivering high-quality homes across Surrey & Berkshire. With a strong reputation for excellence and innovation, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Manager to join their team.

The Project:

- Multi-phased residential development with another 8 years minimum. Mixture of low rise residential blocks and high quality 3,4,5 bedroom homes.

Role Overview:

As a Technical Manager, you will oversee the technical design process from planning through to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality residential developments. You will collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve project objectives efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the technical design process for new build residential developments.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to produce detailed designs that meet building regulations and client specifications.
• Ensure designs adhere to current health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee technical aspects of project delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Manage and resolve design-related issues during construction, providing technical support to site teams.
• Liaise with local authorities and statutory bodies to secure necessary approvals.
• Work closely with the construction and commercial teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Technical Manager or similar role within the residential development sector.
• Strong knowledge of housebuilding construction.
• Familiarity with building regulations, NHBC standards, and other relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring technical excellence.
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
