The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are currently working with an established Commercial Office fit out and refurbishment business looking to expand their Design team. As a business they create first class commercial office workspaces for projects predominately in Central London. They are now looking to hire a Technical Designer to work on mainly CAT A projects and some of their CAT B schemes. You will be involved in creating concepts, scope and getting the design ready for the site team.

As a Technical Designer you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the concept team to ensure projects are well thought of, cost effective and fit the client brief
  • Create and curate technical drawings for pitches and submissions
  • Create construction packs of drawings in line with concept and cost plan
  • Ensure drawings comply with building control, fire, environmental health and any other statutory requirements
  • Carry out building surveys
  • Communicate with the clients throughout the design stages and obtain sign off from them.
