Site / Project Engineer - Long-Term Freelance Opportunity
I'm currently assisting a well-established Developer with their search for a Site / Project Engineer to join their team on a long-term freelance basis.
The role will be site-based and will primarily involve working on the RC Frame, with a strong focus on setting out, gridlines and ensuring works are delivered accurately and to programme.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site / Project Engineer looking for a long-term freelance position, with the opportunity to build a strong relationship with a reputable Developer and grow with the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Setting out gridlines and structural elements
- Working closely with the RC Frame contractor
- Checking dimensions, levels and coordinates
- Ensuring works are set out accurately and in accordance with drawings
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors and the wider project team
- Carrying out quality checks and maintaining accurate site records
- Supporting the smooth delivery of the project from an engineering perspective
The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer
- Strong setting out experience
- Experience working on RC Frame projects
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Good knowledge of levels, coordinates and gridlines
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively with site teams
- Reliable and looking for a long-term freelance opportunity
