Fit-Out Manager – High-Rise Residential Development
We are currently seeking an experienced Fit-Out Manager to join a leading main contractor/developer on a prestigious high-rise residential development.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a significant section of the project, managing the internal fit-out of approximately 5–6 floors and ensuring works are delivered safely, to the highest quality standards, and in line with programme.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Site/Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all internal fit-out activities across your allocated floors, driving progress while maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of internal fit-out works across 5–6 floors.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and to specification.
- Monitor quality throughout all stages of the fit-out process and ensure defects are minimised.
- Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Managers, and commercial team to resolve site issues.
- Carry out regular inspections, snagging, and handover preparation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Attend site meetings and provide progress updates.
About You
We're looking for someone who has
- Proven experience as a Fit-Out Manager on large residential or mixed-use developments.
- A background working for a main contractor or residential developer.
- Experience delivering high-rise projects with multiple trades operating simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of internal fit-out packages, including drylining, M&E coordination, joinery, kitchens, bathrooms, decoration, and final finishes.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to drive programme while maintaining quality and health & safety standards.
- Relevant site qualifications, including SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid.
