Kenna Recruitment have partnered with a highly reputable Tier 2 Fit Out Contractor who are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team and take the lead on a £20m Full CAT B Fit Out project in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who has a proven track record delivering large-scale commercial fit out projects from start to finish.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of a £20m Full CAT B project, working closely with the site team, client, consultants, subcontractors and wider project stakeholders.

You will report directly into the Construction Director and will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, to the required quality standards and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the project from pre-construction through to practical completion and handover.
  • Take overall responsibility for project delivery, programme, quality, commercial performance and health & safety.
  • Manage and lead the site-based project team.
  • Work closely with the Construction Director and senior management team.
  • Liaise with the client, consultants, architects and subcontractors.
  • Manage project programmes and ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and specialist trades throughout the project.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively manage any risks, delays or issues.
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality and workmanship are maintained.
  • Chair and attend project meetings, providing regular progress updates.
  • Ensure all project documentation and reporting is maintained to a high standard.
  • Drive the project through to successful completion and handover.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have

  • Proven experience working for a Tier 2 Fit Out Contractor.
  • A strong track record delivering commercial CAT A/CAT B fit out projects.
  • Experience managing projects valued at £20m–£25m+ from start to finish.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, programmes and project delivery.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead a project team effectively.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to identify and resolve issues before they impact delivery.

Most importantly, you must have demonstrable experience delivering large-scale fit out projects of a similar value with a Tier 2 contractor.
