We are working with a high-quality residential developer delivering low-rise, new-build housing across Hertfordshire. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Technical Manager to lead the technical delivery of schemes from pre-construction through to completion. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys owning the technical process, working closely with consultants, contractors and internal delivery teams to ensure high standards of design, compliance and buildability.
Responsibilities
- Full technical management of low-rise residential schemes from planning through to handover
- Managing and coordinating external consultants (architects, engineers, utilities, NHBC, warranty providers)
- Leading design development, technical approvals and regulatory compliance
- Ensuring buildable, coordinated information is issued to programme
- Supporting site teams through construction, resolving technical issues as they arise
About you
- Proven experience as a Senior Technical Manager / Technical Manager within residential development or housebuilding
- Strong background in low-rise, new-build housing estates
- Confident managing consultants and technical risk
- Solid understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC and residential delivery standards
- Able to operate autonomously while contributing at a senior level
