We are currently recruiting for a Document Controller for a high-end residential developer. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an excellent team with progression opportunities available.
We are looking for a proactive document controller with experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing technical documents and coordinating the flow of project documents. The project is a large-scale residential redevelopment which consists of over 1000 units of RC frame apartments of a high specification. The project is just coming out of the ground so would be joining the team at an early stage rather than inheriting the role.
Responsibilities & requirements
- Manage all incoming and outgoing project documentation and correspondence
- Maintain accurate document control systems and trackers
- Distribute drawings, technical documents, and project information to relevant teams
- Ensure all documentation is compliant with company and client procedures
- Liaise with consultants, suppliers, contractors, and site teams
- Upload, issue, and archive documents using EDMS platforms
- Produce reports and maintain communication trackers across projects
- Support project teams with document management processes
- Provide guidance and support to internal and external users on EDMS systems
- Attend project and site meetings when required
The ideal candidate would have experience in:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel / Word
- The ability to multitask and have high attention to detail
- Experience in the Construction Industry / working on-site would be a bonus!
