Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Commercial Manager to join. As the Commercial Manager, you will oversee the commercial function of multiple fit-out projects, ensuring that all financial, contractual, and operational elements are effectively managed. You will play a key role in budgeting, cost control, and managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial team to deliver fit-out projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, cash flow forecasts, and value engineering.
- Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with all contractual terms.
- Lead the procurement process for subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and best value.
- Manage and mitigate financial risks across projects, providing advice to senior management.
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential issues, and working proactively to resolve them.
- Negotiate with clients and subcontractors on contract variations and change orders.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and project managers to ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, including financial reporting and forecasting.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards across all projects.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager in the fit-out or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes.
