Our client, a highly respected Design & Build Fit Out Contractor, is seeking a talented Technical Design Manager to join their growing team. They’re known for their outstanding reputation, delivering innovative, high-quality workplace projects and benefiting from repeat business with major tech firms and blue-chip organisations.
The Role
- Manage the full technical design process from concept to completion
- Coordinate internal and external design teams
- Work closely with clients to develop design intent and technical solutions
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Lead design workshops and coordination meetings
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and D&B requirements
- Support construction teams with technical queries and problem-solving
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants & supply chain partners
About You
- Proven experience on London Cat B commercial fit out projects
- Background with a D&B fit out contractor, or consultancy with strong D&B exposure
- Strong technical understanding across architectural, interior & MEP interfaces
- Confident leading multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication & client-facing skills
- Ability to drive coordination and maintain high technical standards
