We are seeking a Senior Design Coordinator with strong experience leading design development on new-build education schemes and:
- Applicants must have either UK modular construction experience or UK education-sector construction experience. (This is essential.)
- You will have proven experience coordinating design for UK schools or education facilities, with an understanding of the practical and regulatory realities of designing for live and sensitive learning environments.
- OR proven UK modular construction experience, with knowledge of offsite methodologies, factory-produced components, and integration of structural, M&E and installation systems.
- Strong background collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams, interpreting client requirements, and driving compliant, buildable, cost-aligned design solutions.
- Experience managing design information through RIBA stages—technical design, pre-construction, manufacturing support, and installation coordination.
- Ability to lead design workshops, engage confidently with clients/consultants, and resolve technical queries quickly and collaboratively.
- Solid understanding of modern construction processes, BIM environments, design management tools, and industry standards.
