We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Health & Safety Manager to join a leading developer on a long-term residential project in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Health & Safety professional who is looking for stability, responsibility, and the chance to work closely with the site team on a major development.
The Role:
- Acting as the lead Health & Safety representative on site
- Ensuring compliance with all current Health & Safety legislation, policies, and company procedures
- Carrying out regular site inspections, audits, and reporting
- Working closely with the Project Team, Site Managers, and subcontractors to drive a positive safety culture
- Reviewing RAMS, permits, and site documentation
- Supporting the delivery of a high-quality residential development
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Health & Safety Manager within construction
- Strong background working on large-scale residential or developer-led projects
- Excellent knowledge of CDM Regulations and current Health & Safety legislation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence site teams and subcontractors
- Available for a long-term freelance assignment
