I am currently working with a leading residential developer who is looking to appoint an experienced Document Controller to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established business and play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of residential projects through effective document management and information control.

The Role

The role offers a mix of site and office-based working, with the flexibility of 1 day working from home per week. You will be responsible for managing project documentation, ensuring information is accurately controlled, maintained and distributed across project teams, consultants and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Control the issue, tracking and distribution of drawings, documents and approvals
  • Maintain accurate document registers and revision control
  • Support project teams with information workflows and document management processes
  • Upload, manage and track documents through Asite
  • Monitor document approvals and outstanding actions
  • Liaise with project teams, consultants and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with document control procedures and company processes

About You:

  • Previous experience working as a Document Controller within construction, residential or housebuilding
  • Experience using Asite is essential
  • Strong understanding of document control processes and construction workflows
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project teams
