Our Client are an established Fit Out and Refurbishment contractor with over 25 years experience delivering high end fit out projects across Central London, as a business they have a turnover of over £200million and are seeing year on year growth! They are currently hiring for an additional Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support their Senior Surveyors within the business as they continue to work towards their annual turnover target.

Ideal Candidates will have 1 or 2 years experience in a commercial role and they will consider candidates still working towards their BSc in Quantity Surveying and can support you via the apprenticeship scheme. The division will deliver projects valued between £10,000 - £2million and are aiming to deliver around 40 of these per calendar year. Ideally you will be running a few of these jobs yourself from procurement through to final account.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing the project’s financial aspects, including cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior surveyors to monitor project costs and ensure financial efficiency.
  • Support the procurement process, including tendering and contract administration.
  • Assist in the preparation and evaluation of cost plans and reports.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and timelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or working towards their qualification.
  • Some experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and procurement processes.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
