We’re looking for an Assistant Buyer to join our growing team in High Wycombe, supporting the procurement of materials and subcontractor services across our residential and commercial development projects.

The Role
As Assistant Buyer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Buying and Commercial teams to ensure that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Senior Buyer with procurement of materials, plant, and subcontractor services
- Raising and managing purchase orders
- Liaising with site teams and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and cost efficiency
- Maintaining accurate records and supplier databases
- Supporting cost comparison exercises and value engineering initiatives
- Helping to monitor supplier performance and build strong working relationships
About You
You’ll be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in property development and procurement. We’re looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in a buying or procurement support role (construction or property sector preferred)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident IT skills (Excel, COINS or similar systems an advantage)
- A team-focused approach and the ability to work under pressure
- A desire to grow within a dynamic, forward-thinking developer
