  • Salary package paying up to £150,000-£170,000 pro rata + benefits (Salary will be dependent on your specific skills and experience)
  • Hybrid role- you\’ll be expected in the London office 3 days a week

This incredibly exciting but challenging opportunity requires a highly experienced and proactive Head of Product Operations/Delivery to drive effective execution across all my client\’s product roadmaps.

Role Overview;

This pivotal role will be the face of Product internally. You will be accountable for driving excellence in Product and Technology delivery by ensuring they have the institutional capabilities in place to proactively manage dependencies, resolve issues efficiently, meet committed timelines and deliver transparent reporting.

You will provide leadership and guidance to drive accountability and best practice execution on strategic Product and Technology priorities. You will monitor and oversee all relevant interactions between Product and key parts of the Technology organisation. You will also be instrumental in managing and driving continuous improvement for all tools, processes, and other capabilities supporting execution and coordination between stakeholders.

In this role, you\’ll;

  • Be the primary senior point of contact within Product for my client\’s business leaders, ensuring constant alignment between business and Product & Technology priorities, providing transparency into roadmap progress
  • Inherit 4-6 Senior Product Manager direct reports where you will offer tailored mentorship, support problem solving and issue resolution, monitor performance, advise on roadmap prioritisation and strategy, and provide guidance on business communications and stakeholder management.
  • Actively manage multiple delivery teams, establishing metrics and KPI’s to measure delivery performance and ensure committed timelines are met
  • Champion a culture of accountability and excellence across Product and all other stakeholders involved in Product and Technology delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Product Managers, Delivery Teams, Technical Delivery Managers, and Engineering Leads to ensure alignment, collaboration and execution
  • Establish and continuously improve processes for early identification, escalation, and resolution of potential delivery problems
  • Better manage dependencies between product domain areas

Are you the right person? We\’re looking for;

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in product delivery, project management with demonstrable knowledge or certification in project management, agile methodologies or process improvement
  • 3+ years in a leadership role- you\’re all about building a team culture where collaboration thrives and everyone\’s on board and excited to tackle the next big challenge
  • A proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex product delivery projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines
  • Experience working in both a large (e.g Financial Institution /Bank) and small company/start-up environments with the ability to navigate and adapt to different dynamics
  • Worked with legacy systems and have experience working in a fragmented environment
  • The ability to quickly integrate into teams, building trust and credibility across Product, Technology and other stakeholders to drive confident, fast execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to leverage data to drive decision-making and identify product opportunities
  • User-centric mindset with a demonstrable ability to define and prioritise features based on user need and feedback to ensure long-term client value is delivered
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical teams
