We are a firm of solicitors providing a wide range of legal services, but specialising in civil litigation. We are recruiting a litigation paralegal to assist our solicitors with their litigated housing disrepair case loads. Please note that this is an in-person role and the successful candidate will work full-time in our new office in Bolton.
The role will involve drafting and assisting with various court papers, so attention to detail and excellent drafting skills are a must. Candidates must have a law degree or equivalent and would ideally have completed the LPC and/or have experience of working on litigated civil litigation claims.
The successful candidate will:
- Prepare and assist with the preparation of court documents including particulars of claim, witness statements and court bundles
- Consider and take instructions
- Prepare and draft documents
- Review and report on evidence
- Interview clients to obtain key information
- Work on a case management system
- Improve their telephone skills
- Diary and time management
