Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust has a vacancy for a permanent Teacher of Technology in DT with an immediate start or January 2027. We can offer A Level and Level 3 teaching. The vacancy is based at Kenilworth School and Sixth Form.
Kenilworth School and Sixth Form is the only secondary school in the community of Kenilworth, is oversubscribed with engaged and motivated pupils. Since September 2023, Kenilworth School and Sixth Form has been based in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art campus on Glasshouse Lane, offering staff and students an exceptional modern and prestigious environment for teaching and learning.
The Technology Department is split over three floors, comprising of 3 workshops (one with attached laser cutting room), 1 CAD/ CAM classroom, 2 Food preparation and Nutrition classrooms, 3 Textiles classrooms, 1 large Technology staff base and 3 prep rooms. All classrooms are fully equipped with large interactive TV screens.
Ofsted rated the school as Outstanding in November 2023, maintaining our rating from 2013. The school is well resourced to support the delivery of the subject. The post holder will join a supportive team with opportunities for professional development.

The Department
There are a total of seven teachers in the department and it is well supported by two dedicated Technology Technicians.

The successful applicant should be aspirational, innovative and have a genuine engaging enthusiasm for the teaching and learning of Technology., The Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and parents to share that commitment. Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with Children's Barred List check and obtain membership of the DBS update Service.
We are looking for someone who can teach across KS3 and KS4, and the ability to teach A Level would be desirable, but not essential.
